    * The 2014 Hyundai Tucson sets itself apart due to eye-catching body sculpting with an almost European feel. With a gorgeously contoured hood, two tiered grille, sloping roofline and windswept curves on its profile, the Tucson has a fresh, yet dramatic look that must be experienced in person. The 2014 Tucson is offered in 3 trims: the base GLS, the SE, and the top-of-the-line Limited. The base GLS comes standard with a 2.0-Liter, 164 Horsepower, 4-Cylinder engine. It gets an EPA estimated 23 MPG City and 29 MPG Highway as a Front-Wheel Drive. Dependent on style variations, the SE and Limited are available with a 2.4-liter, 182 Horsepower 4-Cylinder engine or the 2.4-liter can be ordered as a Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle. New for 2014, Hyundai has added direct-injection technology to both of its engine choices. All trims come standard with a 6-speed automatic transmission, and as an available option, all can be equipped with a part-time AWD system. The Base GLS comes standard with power windows and door locks, air conditioning, tilt/telescopic steering wheel with integrated audio and cruise-control buttons, iPod/USB and MP3 auxiliary input jacks, keyless entry, three 12-volt outlets for your electronic devices, and 17-inch wheels. New for 2014, Bluetooth is now standard. When you move up to the Tucson SE you get heated front seats, power drivers seat, automatic headlights, roof rails, heated mirrors, and fog lights. Also, new for 2014 the SE Trim gets a 4.3-inch LCD touch-screen radio with rearview camera. Treat yourself to the top level Limited trim and you get a push-button start, leather seating, automatic dual temperature controls, and 18-inch alloy wheels. New for 2014, the Limited also gets Blue Link telematics. For safety, all trims come standard with front and rear anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, hill start assist, downhill brake control, and traction control. • Easy to get around

I wanted this car because it was smaller than an SUV and very easy to maneuver. I have leather interior and it looks sharp. Haven't had a days trouble and I bought it new. The only complaint is since it is smaller the person riding in the back seat feels more bumps because the seats sit near the wheels. I do love this car!
    • excellant value, front seats very comfortable

rear seats are a little too rigid for me. Excellent storage storage for rear area. Plenty of head room. Amazingly the acceleration on steep hills is very good. I also have a 2014 Toyota Sienna (V6) and the pick up speed in traffic and hills climbing is almost comparable in the Tucson (4)cylinder. Probably the best deal their is for a small SUV and so far it has been completely reliable. Lots of complements on the exterior looks and the red color is probably the best of any manufacturer.
    • Best, most reliable car I've ever had.

2012 Tucson GLS 2.4L. First, I want to explain why I didn't rate Quality a 4...it's just the quality of the interior plastics; the mechanical quality is great. I went from a BMW 330i 5-spd to this (bought it at 20,000 miles in 2013; now has 148,000) to the Tucson because I was tired of the expensive repair costs and having to add a quart of full synthetic oil every 400 miles in my BMW, and I had noticed the aesthetic of the Tucson (very nice!). The car is well laid out and easy to do basic maintenance like oil/filter change, air filter, battery (I replace batteries every 4 or 5 years...helps the life of the alternator), cabin air filter. No unexpected repairs all these years. It needs to last until my wife's car is paid off in 2024 (we like to have just 1 payment), but if it's still kicking, I may keep it longer! Some people complain about performance, and I know why...the transmission seems to be "asleep" sometimes, probably for fuel economy reasons. I just always drive in manual mode, as that's what I've been used to most of my life anyway. You can get some pretty awesome performance once you learn to trick the transmission to get quicker shifts too.
